Delicious Odyssey is a tabletop roleplaying game for one or more people. The goal of the game is to explore the dungeon, grow your settlement into something solid and lasting, guide your adventurers to become strong and skilled, and ultimately reach the deepest stratum and discover what lies sleeping in the dungeon's heart. Along the way you're likely to eat a lot of monsters.
In order to play you'll need a selection of dice, from d4s to d12s, something to write on, and something to write with.
This game takes influence from the manga ダンジョン飯/Delicious In Dungeon and the videogame series Etrian Odyssey. It's about forming parties of adventurers who delve into a dungeon, exploring and clearing and mapping and eating a bunch of monsters. The basic gameplay mechanics are based on The Dark Lord Told Me To Deal With These Adventurers But I'm Only A Level 1 Slime.

Hey, Just downloaded your game and I'm still reading the rules, but I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE the concept of retiring the Maxed-out heroes and giving them something to do.
Not only it gives the Town & Dungeon dynamic progression without getting a overpowered team, but gives you so much personality to the game!
Also, you've listed Both Dungeon Meshi & Etrian Odyssey as inspiration, but have you ever played Darkest Dungeon? The management of Heroes/Adventurers really reminds me of that game!
Anyway, thanks for the game, I'll be trying it out Solo soon! o/
I hadn't considered Darkest Dungeon but yes, you're right, there's a connection! A bit less desperation and trauma here but still, there's some influence! I really love that sort of thing anyway. And retiring adventurers, I always like it when there's a path to an ending, happy or otherwise, for your precious little guys.
