Quite a big update but no real changes
I've been fiddling with this one for ages, but not a lot has actually changed. I've just added a few bits and pieces, mostly clarifications and an overview of how the game plays, and also a bunch of answers to questions that have come up during play. There's also some name inspiration in there now, mostly because the biggest delays I've experienced while playing is when you need an NPC and you're like "We can't keep just referring to her as 'that girl you saved' so who is she?" and it takes ages to think of something.
So, the actual additions:
"How It Works" section detailing the basic structure of a game.
"Direct Questions Towards Yourself" section touching on how asking questions is your chance to learn about yourself, even if it means giving your nemesis control over the answer.
"Mechanics & Narrative" section getting into how dice rolls influence your story.
NPC Conflict and Team Up rules separated from scenes.
Lists of names added.
Random adventuring name table added.
"Questions & Clarifications" section, getting into some stuff about specific mechanics and also more general advice for getting the most out of this game.
That's it, that's the update. This is a game I play pretty often, and as a one-on-one conversational PVP thing I think it works really well. I hope you get something out of it too.
